Abstract
Terminology of Hukum Islam (Islamic Law) can be found nowhere in the Qur’an and other law or Islamic literature. What are found in the Qur’an is the words of syari’ah and fiqh, the law is a specific Indonesian term translated literary from the term Islamic Law from the western literature.
